Ipad has done better than iphone!

i think this article is really a good article to read..very informative.
here is the summary of the article, so that i am able to take out the main points of the article and share out with frens during conversation..

iphone has failed to reach into China market is due to 2 reasons:

1)multi-year phone and service contract is needed.
2)they choose the wrong carrier which is not very popular among Chinese.

Chinese dun like to be tied down to contracts. Youngsters like to change phone occasianally.
Change carrier but, remain the phone number is also hard to be done in China.

Therefore, Chinese find it reluctant to buy iphone because they find it difficult to change to another carrier by using back their old phone number.

Some China market analysis done:
Chinese like to show off. More oftenly, it is youngster with average income drive the luxury sales in China like Gucci.

Therefore, we can see that the fake iphone gain popularity in China , because most users just buy the cheap phone to show off and rarely used them for calling.

Google Nexus one is not a bad phone , however it didnt sell well. The reason is it used the wrong marketing tactics, since they sell Google Nexus One through internet, where most costumers prefer to use touch and have a hands-on phone before buying it.!

Again, this time Apple has learnt from its mistake where previously it delays two years before sell their iphone to China market. This delay has lead to the successful of black market and emergence of fake iphones. This time, they just wait few months then, they straight sell their ipads to the China market.

Some of variation of this method also used by Porsche , where it launches some of its car in China first, before introducing it to other countries. This method also used by alot other brands in the world.

Furthermore, Apple has not set up Apple Store in China to sell their ipad. this has proven to be effective in the sense that the store layout and design is an important trigger for customers to buy products.

It is very important regarding this concept in order to have a store layout that suits the customers preference. For example, Walmart has doing great in alot of countries. However, it fails to penetrate into China market. But, Carrefour successful. What is the reason behind?
This is yet to be discovered..time to prepare for my communication networks!
