The process which is all the matters!!!

Now is late nite 1:29am in the morning, listening to some soft songs at the background.

These few days I truly learnt alot, which is the reason why at this hour , which I should be resting on my bed to prepare for the competition on thurs, but, i still wide awake writing this post, bcoz i wouldnt want my memory and experience which i learnt these few days to be forgotten and wasted.

For me, no matter what the competition result wud be, I am already satisfied with what I have gone thru and learnt.

went to cisco system headquarters today, now I noe the cisco there is more focused on marketing rather than technical.

I was cheated by the Area Manager twice. The first time, he told my teammates not to get a gf early in front of me, and at that time i spot his fingers wear no rings, so i say "this is ur reason u r still not married?" ..he said ''yeah!' ..after awhile, he starts showing his daughter and son pics to us..hehe.then, only I realised i was too way easy to believe in people. I always knew tat , just tat till now, I havent met an occasion which makes me really not to trust anyone..that's y i still trust people up till now.. Second time, is when he said he stayed in Beverly Hills, and i believe it, due to the reasons he is a manager there..after one minute, he said"nie, how i wish!" haha..then, i realised I was cheated for the second time.

One of my teammates is now working in DHL, i have been always wondering what is the qualities he have that makes him successful in getting the job in DHL with RM4000++ pay for freshgraduate. Now I noe, he is talkative and very passionate in knowing more about people. I am a person passionate in making frens with people as well, but, the way I do it mostly is by talking craps. Right now, I have acquired some skills from him indirectly without him knowing.haha..Just ask any questions regarding the job they are involving in tat u can think of to those adults, they will feel honored when there is someone so eager to knowing them more..This is the way of social when in workplace in the future..glad that i learnt it abit earlier than my peers.

oh ya, one of the valuable things i learnt from the manager is that I got to learn how to use touchpad..At home, i used to use mouse to do my jobs which i certainly is much more faster..however, in corporate workplace, able to use netbook without mouse certainly gives us an advantage, so tat we dun need to bring the mouse everywhere, which is very troublesome when comes to meeting people and showing them stuff using netbook.

In cisco system, I observed that there are labels such as sibu, sipadan , tenggol and etc. due to curiousity, I asked them wat is that about, is there any special indications..N they told me tat is the meeting room name..They later bring us for a tour around the cisco headquaters.

Before going up the cisco headquaters at level 5, the lift is abit weird, which till now I stil not quite sure the reason behind it. there is a counter there, which we press the level we wan to go, then the counter will show us which lift for us to ride. At the lift there, there is no buttons for us to press which floors we want to go, which we normally would have in shopping malls. That's certainly something cool, which I think they wanna save time for the employees there, which they dun need to stop and wait every floor for people to come in and out.

Being a ccna holder right now, it is good to know who is our most recent academy manager, which just changed not long ago. The previous academy manager which we got to know, has been transferred to the role of sales. We already knew about it before we went to cisco system being told by the global knowledge people.

N i now noe that cisco actually have three offical training partners which is IMS, global knowledge and Training Partners from Datacraft. All these information is very important to us since we are in networking field. when people talking about it next time, we wouldnt be ignorant of it then.

There is a gal from UM which is the first intern in malaysia cisco, told us that the youngest employees in cisco is 31 yrs old. Cisco academy just recently started a pilot project to cooperate with UM in order to try out the internship thingy, and one thing which I am so damned interested is that malaysia cisco academy is offering a competition for UM students to join and give ideas on business plan that can help in making cisco a better corporation. I was in the telepresence at that time, N the idea just came to me that the telepresence wouldnt it be better it the people in the screen are actually sitting right in front of us in 3D forms..hahak. i got this idea due to the recent thought that i have in mind which to involve myself in 3D projection in the future, both for my fyp and internships. However, the business plan competition is only open to UM students this year. The manager told me they will offer this to other unis and colleges as well. so lets wait then!

I am quite glad to know my this teammate, Gavin, he is a superb person, that we have alot of things in common that we always chat non-stop. One of the interesting things we did in LRt this morning is tat we share with each other what we observed on the people in LRT and deduce a conclusion where she is from, wat background is she, wat is her job and so on..He told me that he has got a female colleage that is really good in observing people..Heard of this i think of my own gf which is pretty good in observing people as well..And we both agree that this is certainly the good qualities that we can learn from gals that they are more teliti in observing things. Next time , i sure can play this game with my gf..It is really fun..to be sorta detective.

Few sentence that I saw which is quite nice on the road is "Zebra crossing is a black zebra with white stripes or white zebra with black stripes", which means we can see one thing from alot of perspective, depends on how creative we are.!

On the lrt, we also noticed the newly campaign slogan by HTC, which is "You dont need to get a phone, you need a phone to get you" , which means you dont need to learn how to use HTC phone, the HTC phone will adapt to your needs...okay..really?? haha..

Oh ya, Gavin treated me in Old town yest nite. and also today dinner..N he said it is his honor that he is capable to treat people..haha..and also this means our friendships will not end just after this competition, we will be keeping in contact since i owe him treats which i will certainly treat him back when I got jobs next time!

DHL is a German company which is a very good company. I told him that Digi is a very good company as well that they are really into all these green things, that they forcing their employees to car pool by providing very limited car parks to their employees, and have only few printers in the company so that when the employees wan to print things, they need to walk all the way to the printers and print, it helps in the sense that the employees will not simply print things and waste papers..then, Gavin told me that DHL also doing the same thing which there is a label on the printer,"Before you print, think, you may save a tree!" N i also asked him how he applies for the job in DHL, he told me there are 3 stages need to go. first, is they will look at the CV, then , they will have a phone interview and at last they will have a seminar and workshop that will have you to debate and look at your performance and confidence to speak..

As i have known since long time ago, people from 创架学会 are very active in socialing with people....N he told me he is from 创架学会..OMG his dad is so knowledgeable in all those investment, politics, and economics, i am interested in this stuff as well, just tat never had time to go deep into doing research on this stuff....i do have a nice chat with his dad. His dad is from mahua, first time ever i heard the opinion from mahua.. I used to have frens all supporting minglian, which we strongly feel that the Government shud be changed in the case that they are already in power for so long and this is the reason bribing is so extensive in government nowadays..He has different view that if minglian take over, they will not have experience in managing the country since it is their first time..I have tot of this idea before, before already forgotten long time ago..N he told us that last time the president of mahua which is limliangshet, is a very cunning guy , which already cheated alot people and company and gain alot of fortune from the people he cheated. His son, limxurong, is a very cunning person..and cheated alot people as well..And he told us, that in investment, there are alot of fake informations, which are traps for greedy people to step in, N gavin relatives had few bad experience falling for this kinda traps. N in the car, when listening , i told myself if next time wanna start investing, must at least observing and really learning the investment for a year before go into real life investing..

After yst, i trully get the feeling home is the sweetest place it can be..due to the reason that the room i stay yest is not so clean up, and ther is some dust in the room, which me a whole lot of nuissance this morning..wat a running nose!!!

Oh ya, I am quite proud of myself that I am able to bypass the websites blocked by Cisco today..haha..even my teammates they are studying ITs , they are not aware of the bypass thingys...it certainly strengthen my belief that in life , curiousity to discover is very important...However, the most important is tat after we discovered, we need to use the knowledge to create something that can bring something to this Earth we live in right now..

My gf recently got a feel tat I have no directions in life..I was thinking alot on this matter. Till now, I still havent got a clear directions sincerely..But, one thing i NOE for sure is I WANNA BE SO DAMNED UNIQUE PERSON! this is all that matters to me, therefore, i can become a businessman in the future, who knows, or i can be 3D projection master ? and other things..I never know, and never can think of.....I wanna create my own jobs..this is still too early for me decide on wat i wanted to do in life..i hasnt seen enuf to make such a huge decision!
This question will keep hanging in my head for sure..

oh..is time to go bed, tml still need to push my way through the preparation for competition!

ohya..before ending this topic, i just come to remember few interesting fact tat i learn from my ccna trainer and global knowledge sales manager, Albert Tan..my trainer told me in IT field, you shudnt ever think of making IT ur life career, bcoz technology changes too fast..however, it can be good start for fresh grads..sales isnt a good field as well, as in you need to keep on finding new customers, not like in ITs where you can be abit easier with decent pays if you have acquired the basic skills and knowledge..everything has its pros and cons.

oh ya tried subway for the first time in my life, great experience!

in wat I observe from their talking the way they joke is like Russell Peter where they jokes on people culture and behaviours, this is the way of English jokes. I can be good in mandarin lame jokes, but, i am no good in english jokes,..which is quite important when in workplace next time..therefore, after the competitions and everything, i will borrow from kok jin the collection of russell peter shows to polish up my skills in communicating with people in English!

they have been to alot places..they told us that the actual culture of Starbucks is way so different from wat we see in malaysia. where the employees in starbucks must be able to speak fluent english, have good memories and friendly, where in other countries the employees of Starbucks will remember the name of the customrs and chat with them..if u ever went there more than twice, they employees sure will greet you with ur name when u visit the store again..
Again, this is all about the curiousity of knowing people more and deeper..this type of curiousity is very important in nowadays which plays a big role in social.

My traniner told us in China, the people there drive very recklessly, and he so scared, he cracks a joke by saying that most probably the population in china way too much..die one of two people doesnt make a difference to them ..lol!!!

Albert told us that Glasgow is a very clean place to live in. he even told us that in glasgow shopping mall, there is a test to eat for the hams..there are tonnes of hams to test eat before you buy, n you really can test them till you satisfy..wow..haha..however, he said there is no people queuing up for the free test..it is weird , isnt it? imagine if it is in malaysia..there sure will be a long queue..
